Pneu-Tech Systems' weighing & scaling systems can improve the accuracy and efficiency of your major, minor and micro ingredient handling.

Scale Hopper Systems (Vacuum)
Vacuum - Material can be delivered to the scale hoppers by a closed-loop Aeropass system, filter receivers, cyclones or screw feeders. When a receiver is used, an Aerolock meters material into the scale hopper until the set point is reached.
  • Continuous or batch weighing.
  • Conveying rates up to 30,000 lbs./hr.
  • Recipe, formula and inventory capabilities.
  • Gate valve allows scale hopper to discharge material on demand.
  • Closed-loop Aeropass Scaling System

Closed-loop Aeropass Scaling System - Feeds multiple scale hoppers with a common material line, eliminating the need for separate filtering on each hopper.
  • 2", 3", 4" and 5" line sizes.
  • Valve mounts directly on scale hopper, simplifying system design and cost.
  • Separate conveying lines for applications sensitive to cross-contamination.
  • Aeropass diverts material into the hopper until ingredient set point is reached. After the set point is reached, the valve purges the material and air to the source.
  • Scale hopper's unique internal scroll improves material/air separation to achieve good filling efficiency, even with fine powders.

Pressure - Material can be delivered to the scale hoppers by a closed-loop Aeropass system, filter receivers, cyclones or screw feeders. When a receiver is used, an Aerolock meters material into the scale hopper until the set point is reached.

Filter Receiver Scaling Systems (Vacuum or Pressure)
Vacuum or Pressure - Material is conveyed to a filter receiver mounted on load cells. The receiver's self-cleaning filter media separates the material from the conveying air, eliminating product carryover and providing a cleaner process area.
  • Conveying rates to 30,000 lbs./hr.
  • 3", 4", 5", 6" and 8" line sizes.
  • Recipe, formula and inventory capabilities.

Gain-In-Weight Mode - Aerolock rotary valve meters material into the conveying line until the preact value prior to the set point is reached.
  • A two-speed or variable-speed drive maximizes accuracy.
  • Diverter valve directs material from multiple sources.
  • Sack dump station allows operator to add minor ingredients.
  • When the recipe is satisfied, the filter receiver's gate opens and discharges material.

Loss-In-Weight Mode
  • Fills the receiver with material, then discharges until the correct amount has been delivered.
