Series II

Series II 2400 modular vacuum conveying equipment is designed to move powder, pelleted, regrind, or granular materials with equal ease and efficiency.

2410/2415 Receivers
Each receiver is equipped with a heavy-duty, cast discharge spout and one-piece stainless steel gate. Receivers are available in aluminum or 316 stainless steel.
  • Designed for use in the Series II 2400 central conveying system where there are multiple destinations, larger conveying rates, or longer distances.
  • Multiple receivers are automatically sequenced by the Central Controller to provide continuous conveying. The receivers utilize a common blower package.
  • 10" or 15" dia. aluminum or stainless steel construction with 1/4 cu.ft. or 3/4 cu.ft. capacity, respectively.
  • 2" or 3" dia. material tangential inlet, single or dual.
  • Factory-wired, solid state NEMA 12 control panel. Via commands from the Central Controller, it actuates the solenoids for the fill valve, bag pulse, and inlets (dual-inlet units only).
  • Magnetic level control, signaling the controls when another load of material is required.
  • Powder units equipped with pulse-jet reverse air cleaned filter bags, air accumulator, and control valve. Powder units automatically clean the bags with bursts of compressed air after each draw cycle.
  • Pellet units equipped with a pancake foam filter element.
  • Quick-connect clamps to simplify filter maintenance.

2420 Receivers
Design to handle free-flowing granular, powder, regrind, and pelletized materials.
  • Designed for use in the Series II 2400 central conveying system where there are multiple destinations, larger conveying rates, or longer distances.
  • Multiple receivers are automatically sequenced by the Central Controller to provide continuous conveying. The receivers utilize a common blower package.
  • 20" dia. epoxy-coated carbon steel with a FDA epoxy-coated interior. Optional 304 stainless steel is available in the material contact areas.
  • Standard single 2" or 3" dia. material inlet, (or dual upon request).
  • Factory-wired, solid state NEMA 12 control panel. Via commands from the Central Controller, it actuates the solenoids for the fill valve, bag pulse, and inlets (dual-inlet units only).
  • Utilitzes a level sensing indicator signaling the controls when another load of material is required.
  • Equipped with pulse-jet reverse air cleaned filter cartridges, air accumulator, and control valve. It automatically cleans the bags with bursts of compressed air after each draw cycle.
  • Quick-connect clamps to simplify filter maintenance.

2422 Receivers
Our most versatile Series II 2400 receiver, the 2422 is designed to handle materials ranging from free-flowing pellets to difficult-to-discharge fine powders.
  • Designed for use in the Series II 2400 central conveying system where there are multiple destinations, larger conveying rates, or longer distances.
  • Multiple receivers are automatically sequenced by the Central Controller to provide continuous conveying. The receivers utilize a common blower package.
  • Available in 22" 316 and 304 stainless steel, or epoxy-coated carbon steel for applications requiring specific materials of contruction to meet the demands of abrasion resistance, sanitary conditions, or a corrosive environment.
  • Standard Single 2" or 3" dia. material inlet (or dual available upon request).
  • Utilizes a remote-mounted solid-state NEMA 4, NEMA 7, or NEMA 9 control panel via commands from the Central Controller. It commands the functions of the discharge gate, filter pulse cleaning, fill valve, and inlet selection for those equipped with dual inlets.
  • Utilizes a level sensing indicator signaling the controls when another load of material is required.
  • Equipped with pulse-jet reverse air cleaned filter cartridges, air accumulator, and control valve. It automatically cleans the bags with bursts of compressed air after each draw cycle.
  • Quick-connect clamps to simplify filter maintenance.

Central System Controllers
Controls up to 24 vacuum receivers in a single system. A low-voltage cable system with quick-connect plugs allows the receivers to be connected to the Central Controller without tools.
  • Designed for use with Series II 2400 receivers.
  • Features an easy-to-use, touch-sensitive keypad. From one location, the operator can turn receivers on and off, set the draw time for each receiver, and start the systems's blower package.
  • Unit is shipped pre-programmed, eliminating complex logic programming.
  • No additional circuit boards needed as receivers are added.
  • LED visual indicators inform operator of receiver's status.
  • Fully alphanumeric with 2-line by 16-charactere display.
  • Easy on-screen system setup.
  • Back-up blower capability.
  • Blower shutdown feature automatically shuts down system at operator-selected intervals to allow a self-cleaning in-line filter to clean the bags.
  • Password protect to restrict access to setup and option features.
  • Built in networking capability and computer interface for data acquisition.

2410 Loaders
Designed for machine loading and other applications where material is moved a short distance to one destination.
  • 10" dia. aluminum or stainless steel construction with 1/4 cu.ft. capacity.
  • 2" dia. material tangential inlet, single or dual.
  • Self-contained power head consists of a 120-volt, 1-phase, 60-cycle brush-type motor.
  • Factory-wired, solid state NEMA 12 control panel with power cord for 120-volt, 1-phase, 60-cycle operation.
  • Conveys material for the preset time, then stops to empty the material from the loader. If the hopper below is not full, the cycle will repeat until it is full.
  • Magnetic level control to stop loading when the hopper below is full. When the material level lowers, the load cycle will start again.
  • Powder machine loaders are equipped with pulse-jet reverse air cleaned filter bags, air accumulator, and control valve. Powder units include an additional time delay between load cycles to allow for the automatic bag cleaning. Pellet machine loaders are equipped with pancake foam filter element.
  • Quick-connect clamps to simplify filter maintenance.
  • Equipped with solid-state loader controls. Front panel controls include knobs to set the draw time for inlet number one (and inlet number two, if the unit is so equipped) plus an on/off switch. The controls allow for future add on options.
  • Conversion kits are available to easily convert a 2410 loader to a receiver for use in a Series II central conveying system.

Series 2400 Blowers
The Series 2400 vacuum blower is specifically designed for use with our Series 2400 receivers. Controlled by the micro-processor that commands the entire Series 2400 system, each blower package includes the following:
  • A vacuum breaker valve to accommodate the Series 2400's continuous sequencing conveying.
  • A positive displacement blower and TEFC motor.
  • Totally enclosed belt drive guard.
  • Air-actuated vacuum breaker valve.
  • Spring loaded back-up vacuum relief valve.
  • A large vacuum guage and an outlet silencer.
