Aerolock Rotary Valves

Over 150 models and sizes to match almost any application. Displacements range from .08 to 2.57 cu. ft./rev. with outboard bearings and optional drive shipped fully assembled.

HD Aerolock
Built for heavy-duty service and high-volumetric efficiency.
  • Designed for heavy-duty industrial service.
  • 8-bladed rotor for 12 PSI maximum pressure differential.
  • Round or square inlet/outlet configurations.
  • 6" to 16" sizes.
  • Standard 2 Aerolocks include T-3 seals and relieved-tipped rotors for handling materials that tend to build up on the housing (such as sugar) or handling plastics which tend to smear on the housing.
  • Special clearances for materials such as sugar or starch.
  • Stainless steel construction optional.
  • Standard 6 Aerolocks include flat-tipped rotor and lip-type seals for conveying flour.
  • Optional air purge seals for abrasive or sticky materials.
  • Optional Nedox®, tungsten carbide, or chrome interior coatings for highly-abrasive materials.
  • Drive assemblies available.


LD Aerolock
Flexible-tipped rotor minimizes air loss.
  • Designed for use in low pressure or low vacuum service.
  • 3 PSI maximum pressure differential. Flexible-tipped, 6-bladed rotor keeps air loss to a minimum.
  • Ideally suited for continuous discharge from a cyclone or filter-type dust collector where a head of material does not build up on top of the Aerolock’s inlet.
  • 6" to 16" sizes.
  • Round or square inlet/outlet configurations.
  • Drive assemblies available.


MD Aerolock
The maximum-duty Aerolock is engineered for continuous, 24-hour service.
  • Designed for continuous, 24-hour maximum-duty service.
  • 10-bladed rotor for 20 PSI maximum pressure differential.
  • Round or square inlet/outlet configurations.
  • 6" to 16" sizes.
  • Standard 3 Aerolocks for the Chemical Industry with relieved-tipped rotors for conveying materials that tend to build up on the housing; e.g., Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, soap pellets and Sodium Tripolyphosphate.
  • Special clearances for materials such as sugar or starch.
  • Stainless steel construction optional.
  • Standard 4 Aerolocks include hubbed rotors (keeping the material away from the end plates) for handling abrasive powders. It utilizes packing gland seals.
  • Optional air purge seals for abrasive or sticky materials.
  • Optional Nedox®, tungsten carbide, or chrome interior coatings for highly-abrasive materials.
  • Drive assemblies available.


BT Aerolock
The blow-through Aerolock is designed for complete rotor cleanout.
  • Designed for heavy-duty industrial service.
  • 8-bladed rotor for 12 PSI maximum pressure differential.
  • Blow-through configuration enhances rotor cleanout and makes installation in tight quarters possible.
  • 8" to 16" sizes.
  • Rectangular inlet configuration.
  • 10" size available in round configuration.
  • Standard 7 Aerolocks include flat-tipped rotors and lip-type seals for the milling and baking industry.
  • Optional T-3 seals and relieved-tipped rotors for handling materials that tend to build up on the housing (such as sugar) or handling plastics which tend to smear on the housing.
  • Special clearances for materials such as sugar or starch.
  • Optional Nedox®, tungsten carbide, or chrome interior coatings for highly-abrasive materials.

QC Aerolock
Designed for quick and easy disassembly and reassembly by one person, making it ideal where contamination is a concern; e.g., food, chemical, plastic and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Built to exacting tolerances for trouble-free reassembly every time. Original clearances are maintained without adjustment.
  • Optional support carriage fully supports the rotor as it is removed for cleaning.
  • Designed for 24-hour continuous, maximum-duty service.
  • 10-bladed rotor for 20 PSI maximum pressure differential.
  • Round inlet/outlet configuration.
  • 6" to 16" sizes.
